| Cottage Review:
We have just returned from the cottage after a brilliant week away. We loved the look of the cottage and the cute courtyard (which is a sun trap in the afternoon/evening) the garden out the back was lovely to have our morning coffee, especially in the sun. We were greeted with yummy brownies, wine, a beer and milk which was a lovely touch. It?s in the perfect location for the three peaks, we had time to do Ingleborough and Whernside this week. | Cottage Review:
We fell in love with this cottage the second we found it online. Our journey to the cottage took us past the famous Ribble Viaduct and all the stunning scenery - good start to the holiday! On arrival at the cottage we stepped in and straight away knew we were going to have a brilliant holiday. It was absolutely immaculate. We all did an excited tour of the cottage and agreed it was beautiful. The spec was high, it was modern, light and so well thought through. Gorgeous rural location in the Dales, adjacent to the Settle -Carlisle railway. Very peaceful ( trains infrequent) , cosy and warm. Beautifully decorated with well equipped kitchen and fantastic bathroom ( shower lovely and warm, but no bath) Beds really comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Wood burning stove great on autumn evenings. Great location for the 3 peaks, or just for exploring the Dales in general. Lots of places to eat / cosy pubs in nearby Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale.
