| Cottage Review:
Parking was good outside the house parking permits were there on arrival. Recieved code to get into the house. On entering the house (hallway) it was clean but there was a musty damp smell. Entered the living room the smell was still there we put the heating on. The room was clean and the dining area had a 12 seater table that was good as there was 9 of us. Kitchen area was clean and well equipped. Went into the hot tub area and was knocked back by the musty foisty damp smell ! Wow ! Went upstairs we all picked our rooms on enteri g my room it was lovely double room (oliver) but on inspecting the bathroom ensuite there was the strong musty smell again. The shower bottom of door and part of the shower walls were mould. I opened the bedroom window to let air in. All the glasses and cups had to be washed before we used as they smelt awfull ! The hot tub fri night was just warm enough only 1 jet worked and no hot tub light. 3 of them used ! The Saturday night 3 of us were going to use but it looked awfull ! The water was cloudy and I couldn't use anyhow as the smell in that room was awfull damp musty foisty smell ! It took your breath ! Cooking only half of the oven really worked as the door kept opening on one side. Again every time we came to use cups and glasses from cupboard we had to hand wash because of the smell. The house downstairs was very clean but the smell was awfull and very disappointed with the hot tub !! Was looking forward to use but couldn't! |
