Cottage Review:

Location is opposite a building site , knocking down and re.building, just about see the sea from balcony except the patio doors were so dirty couldn't look through them.

The furniture is old and needs re staining , the double bed is diabolical rock hard and lumpy I didn't use the single beds.

Dishwasher didn't work fridge noisy and then the freezer started being noisy too !! Cups were cracked didn't care to use them . 4 dining room set.but only 2 seater couch and bucket seat if there is 4 nowhere for 4 th person to sit

Front door loose caretaker assured me was.ok after I rang her as no free view and netflix .

Bathroom hand rail at end of bath I dare.not attempt it if I fell I was on my own. Couldn't take shower.down to wash my hair as a rain shower.

I had booked this as a holiday for me and 2 foster children who didn't end up coming , I tried to change dates online all of August available Sykes said No change even though from 684 it would have been 1546 from August, I left after 2 nights .

Thank goodness I didn't pay for August.

Noisy tatty patio doors , furniture not much better. Not much to give a good opinion on the are was busy with lots of teenagers not.my cup of tea all the are being build with high-rise buildings.

Never again.

Cottage Review:

Part of a very large apartment complex which builders did not complete. No idea why but you can see things were done on the cheap in terms of finish. Rumour has it they ran out of money. Sadly the complex behind is incomplete, shabby and probably needs pulling down now.

Pros- location. 2 mins walk to the glorious beach.

Spacious flat.

Basically furnished. Big enough for a family of 4

Nice large shower/bath room.

Warm.

Only seating for 3. Two seater sofa and one small armchair.

Table and 4 chairs.

1 small double bed

2 single bed.

Plenty of storage

Two TVs

Small balcony but overlooking chalets. Can glimpse the sea.

Cons- really awful cheap hard and incredibly uncomfortable beds, that gave us all back ache and we are seasoned campers who can sleep anywhere.

Cheap flat hard pillows. Bring your own!

Sink set too far back, so will be hard for a short person to shave! Never seen a sink positioned like that!

Front door didn?t fit properly or shut on the latch so needed to be mindful and lock carefully, as it won?t shut otherwise.

No opening windows in the flat, just large patio doors that you can?t leave open in the night, as it?s floor level so not safe. Will be stuffy in the summer.

Flashing light in the car park outside, that was so bright and strong we were convinced a police car was outside at first! Be mindful if you have a family member with seizures as it flashes all night lighting up the hall way like a strobe light!

Building works going on opposite the flat by another company adding to chalets rented there. Should be finished by the summer.

Tips - bring your own pillows and a yoga mat or something to put on the lumpy hard mattresses!!

Check the door as the latch doesn?t work so it won?t close behind you.

Owner needs to add a large door curtain to hide the bright flashing car park lights!

Owner needs to buy a mattress topper for each bed and better quality pillows.

Owner- Get a replacement door lock.
