| Cottage Review:
We stayed here as a big family get together. My opinion is the house needs a lot of working doing on it. The cleaners need to do a much better job when new quests are arriving. We had dirty pillows, dirty duvet, dirty bathroom, ( upstairs one) only one plug socket next to the bed. Very dusty wardrobe, and a silly very large mirror when a dressing table would of been much better for us ladies. The garden needs a make over, broken fence, and much better seating and a nice bbq not the very small one in the shed. The lounge needs better seating. On a positive note the kitchen was nice, all well equipt, with a nice log burner. The Elec car charger did not work. The t/v ariel in the lounge was not good. All in all i think with some improvements the house could be a lot better, but the cleaning for me let it down. Dirty pillows and duvet are not what you want to find. I only saw this when we had to strip the bed before we left. All said, we had a lovely time catching up with family and time to chill out. Would i stay again? Am afraid not. We stayed 12 years ago at another property up the road, and it was much better, much more cleaner. Maybe have a word with your cleaners! Check that bedding, and get your duster out. |
