High Fellside Hall, Middleton, Sedbergh, Cumbria, LA6 2NF

After an excellent stay in 2018 we had to return to High Fellside Hall again. The house was just as lovely as we remembered and the better weather allowed us to enjoy lovely outside areas the house provides looking onto the Yorkshire Dales.

The house is amazingly well furnished and we made good use of the sizeable pool and hot tub (the latter is excellent for those on walking holidays with tired legs). Given it's removed location the house has incredible WiFi which was very appreciated!

I highly recommend High Fellside Hall (and the additional High View Barn for larger groups).

This superb converted and extended farmhouse has everything that you could ever want. Every laboursaving device. Huge fridge and freezer . The rooms all beautifully decorated. An immense swimming pool, Jacuzzi and hot tub. The setting idyllic. A place not to be missed.

The location was stunting, with Kendal only 20 minutes away and lovely picturesque villages nearby. Over the years my family have rented lots of holiday homes but High Fell Side Hall was very special, not just because of the beautiful location, spacious lovely interior, stunning pool facilities but the little extras such as the luxurious dressing gowns and towels, yummy gift baskets and the very kind gift of the champagne which my mum received when the owners found out we were celebrating her 80th birthday. We have just returned from a fantastic family holiday at High Fell Side Hall. The surroundings are stunning and so is the house is the house. Diane the owner was very welcoming and left us a lovely hamper to start off our holiday. The house has so much that we really didn't need to venture far to have a ball. My daughter booked High Fellside for an extended family get together during the Easter school hols; we were a large group of 18 ranging from age 7 to 88, children, teenagers, younger adults, parents and grandparents of varying ages and interests. I can truthfully say each one of us enjoyed every moment, were so sad to leave and are already planning our return trip. :-) :-) :-)

If you're looking for a large house for a gathering this is the number one. Having stayed in lovely places before this blew them out of the water.

The website pictures don't do the pool justice. It's large and when lit up in a evening it looks magnificent.

Sonos system fills the whole house with music.

I only regret booking activities away from the house so we could send even more time there.
