Description of the cottage holiday
Grange over Sands lies eight miles south from the foot of Windermere, on the Cartmel Peninsula, overlooking the Morecambe Bay. The village is one of my favourites, but as I live here, perhaps I am a little biased. A long time favourite as a lakes come coastal destination, it was popularised during the Victorian and Edwardian periods, partly due to the so called micro climate we seem to have here. Indeed where else would you find palm trees in little gardens in Cumbria.Sleeps: from 0 to 6
