Cottage Review:  

I chose Underwood Cottage as it seemed to fit the bill - 3 bedrooms with en-suites plus a hot tub in beautiful surroundings to celebrate my 60th birthday with adult children & partners. I chose well! It was advertised as welcoming dogs and as we don't have a dog, I did wonder if the cottage might show "doggy wear and tear" . However, Underwood was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. An added bonus was that we could walk "The old Man of Coniston" from the doorstep together with many other delightful walks and bike rides without the need to get in the

Cottage Review:  

Lovely well equipped and presented bungalow, plenty of parking, within easy reach of Coniston and other villages. Many cicular walks from the door plus alot within short driving distance. Pub approx 1 mile from bungalow to which dogs are allowed. We all really enjoyed out stay, dogs as well, we benefited from the peace and quiet and felt very relaxed by the time our week was complete.

Cottage Review:  

Great cottage near coniston perfect size for 6 adults, clean, comfortable and friendly owners. Amazing hot tub and views across the lakes just a short walk to the local pub and some lovely pubs in coniston for great food. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed and also has a nice conservatory. Many lovely local walks around the area and near by to hawkshead and grizedale forest for more exploring. We will recommend to others and would definitely stay again!!!
