Sleeps 6 in three double bedrooms. Substantial, double fronted stone built detached property with a stream to one side, Situated on the fringe of the village of Dolrhedyn, and enjoying a pleasant open aspect to the front with views of the Moelwyn mountain range and within sight of the Blaenau Ffestiniog narrow gauge railway.Best Features
'Ty Mawr' A former quarry managers property for the former Cwmorthin quarry. has been tastefully modernised, fully double glazed and central heating, and refurbished by Melvin and Mererid but retains many original features including slate slab flooring and cast iron fireplaces. Enjoying a sizeable front garden with river boundary and slate paved patio areas. The surrounding area has a wide range of outdoor pursuits with many wonderful walks but also shooting, fishing, a the recently opened LLechwedd centre that features four world class downhill mountain bike trails and zip wire rides. The Tanygrisau station for the Blaenau Ffestiniog steam railway is a short walk away. The many walks available include strolls on tarmac paths to Stwlam dam to day long walks on mountain ridges. Beaches are a short drive away for those lazy beach days.
