We had a fantastic stay in this cottage , it was warm, cosy, spacious , well equipped and in a great location. It?s perhaps a little tired and would benefit some TLC along with WiFi as 3g/4g isn?t strong. You can easily walk into the village but you will feel the walk back up that very steep hill ! Do be super careful driving as there are low level rocks hiding beneath vegetation which can rip a hole in your tyre which we found out on our arrival. The locals are warm, friendly and helpful , the Victoria Inn does great food and the village shop is well stocked. We would stay again as we enjoyed it so much.

This part of the world is fabulous. This cottage is beautifully rustic. I had the best holiday of my life here. Both secluded and within easy reach of amenities it's a perfect location. Just spot on, can't wait to go back.

We had a lovely stay at the character filled cottage in Corwen. The location is breathtaking and the garden is beautifully maintained. The hosts were very friendly and the cottage well loved and maintained. It helped having detailed directions. We would highly recommend this cottage.

This was our 2nd stay at Ty Cerrig and it was even better than last year. The cottage is so lovely, more like staying at someone's home than a faceless rental flat. The ceiling beams, low doors and rocking chair make it so cosy. We had less-than-ideal weather but we were snuggled up warm at Ty Cerrig. The very generous £30 pre-paid electricity meter was more than adequate for the week (I think we had £10 left on it). There is a DVD player (region 2 only) a DAB radio, tv with Freeview and lots of dvds, games etc for guests to use.

Bad points for us:

Had to give the owner a call as the chimney was clearly blocked as the smoke was not drawing out of the log burner, he said it had never been swept! This was worrying as you're supposed to get them swept every year as far as I’ve read because of the risk of chimney fire, this did ruin the first part of our holiday as I’m expecting a baby and didn't want to be in a smelly smokey room and it got cold on an evening so needed it going. Plus we chose this cottage as we wanted a fire! The owner quickly arrange

We have just spent a week relaxing at Ty Cerrig and loved every minute. The scenery of the area was stunning, from empty beaches to autumn coloured forests and majestic mountains! Not to mention castles, waterfalls and steam trains - what more could you need? The cottage was cosy, comfortable and well equipped, with super walks literally on the doorstep. We would definitely return!
