| Cottage Review:
A delightful mini castle in a wonderful location. Great place to get away from it all. However, the bed wasn't made up with fresh linen. No welcome pack. I spoke to the owner a couple of weeks later and was informed we should have had milk, eggs, bread and butter. We didn't even get the milk! Obviously not the owners fault, just a really bad housekeeper. Otherwise a lovely place, though could do with a facelift and the kitchen could have been better equipped. No working lights outside which was dangerous as there were steep steps with wet leaves on. Beauly was a great little town and we loved Loch Ness and Culloden Battlefield. Popular with honeymooners. |
