We have stayed at The Stables over a dozen times now! For us it is the perfect escape. The cottage is beautiful, it has been finished to the highest standard and is equipped with everything will ever need.

The garden in a huge and very peaceful and the fact that it leads directly onto the estuary is just the icing on the cake.

There is some amazing birdwatching to be done too so don't forget your binoculars!

The cottage sits just two miles outside of Barmouth town centre, which is really handy for the lovely dog-friendly beach and of course the delicious fish and chips but is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle - bliss.

The owners of the cottage are lovely, they quite happily leave you to your own devices but are always happy to help if you need any information about the local area.

Needless to say, we very highly recommend The Stables as the perfect holiday cottage.

Superb location, beautiful well-equipped cottage with wonderful outside areas as well. Extremely helpful and friendly owners. Would be fantastic summer or winter and the accommodation is versatile, with 3 bathrooms and would be suitable for any party combination. Would highly recommend it as one of the best holiday lets I have seen.

Make up of party:  We had two families sharing and an older relative. Great flexibility of accommodation which meant everyone was happy.
