Description of the holiday cottage
Originally an old watermill, this cosy cottage has a small set of steps leading up to the entrance and straight into the open lounge. The charming historic beams, log burning fire and comfy sofas create the ideal sociable space for family and friends to relax, after a busy day of fun-filled activities. Splitting up the space between the kitchen and lounge is the large dining table which accommodates five guests. In the kitchen, are all the essentials needed for your stay including a washing machine and dishwasher. The family bathroom is on the same floor and has a bathtub and walk-in shower. Upstairs, there is one family room with a single and double bed; and a master room with a king-sized bed. There is a private driveway leading up to the cottage with space for two cars and a garden filled with beautiful flowers and wildlife.

| Cottage Review: We’ve booked and stayed at two properties through Eden Retreats - Byre Cottage in the Lake District and The Old Watermill in Staffordshire. I have to say the booking process was so easy and all communication was extremely friendly. Both properties were to a really high standard, exceptionally clean and really well equipped. The welcome packs were out if this world with freshly baked bread and cakes alongside lots of other treats and so much more than you would ever expect. Owners at both properties made us feel so welcome! We will definitely be booking again soon. | |||||

An excellent stay at the quirky Old Watermill. Excellent booking process with Eden Retreats. Apartment was very comfy, excellent kitchen, bedrooms lounge and bathroom. A great centre for exploring Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire. |
