We returned for a second time to the Garden Flat and were very happy to spend another week there. The flat is very spacious and comfortable and perfect for dog owners, with extensive grounds and numerous footpaths to keep the dogs exercised. Our two dogs were very happy and enjoyed chasing balls on the rolling lawns. The outside seating area makes a perfect setting for a relaxed evening meal. Hadleigh is easily reached and is well serviced with supermarkets, takeaways and cafes and an attractive high street to explore. Overall a perfect, relaxed venue to explore this part of Suffolk.

We stayed in the garden flat for the week leading up to our son's wedding. It has therefore become a very special place for us.

It is a very comfortable house and we enjoyed sitting outside and even playing the occasional game of foosball!

The grounds were so peaceful and we loved watching the rabbits, squirrels, pheasants and myriad of other birds.

It was a pleasant walk into Hadleigh where we could buy provisions and visit a variety of eateries.

The welcome pack including the lovely flowers was much appreciated.

We stayed for a week here and it was so peaceful and quiet set in beautiful surroundings. Perfect for visiting the quaint villages in the surrounding Suffolk countryside. The Flat is lovely with comfortable beds and a casually chic sitting room with cosy sofas just perfect to curl up on with a book. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances and eggs,milk butter and bread thoughtfully supplied by Perry were much appreciated.

A short walk through the estate grounds takes you to Hadleigh for essentials.

The safe grounds allowed our dog to chase the squirrels and rabbits to his hearts content. Fortunately they were too quick for him.

The boot room with its sink just the thing for muddy paws and shoes.

This tranquil holiday home is just right for those who want to take some time to enjoy a rural escape. High on our list of places to return to.

We enjoyed a lovely week in the Garden Flat with our two dogs. Set in beautiful grounds, the outdoor space is amazing and perfect for dogs with boundless energy. It was truly lovely to wake up with birdsong and trees visible from every window.

We arrived to a great goodie package of eggs, bread, butter and milk which was very much appreciated and perfect for that first much-needed brew.

The flat is a great size, lots of room, very comfy and with great kitchen facilities if you enjoy cooking. Our hosts were very welcoming and regularly checked in to make sure all was OK.

Hadleigh is just a short walk away and is a lovely friendly town and very welcoming to dogs.

I would recommend both the flat and the area. We will definitely return to Suffolk as we loved it!

We spent three nights at Holbecks House garden flat at the beginning of February, and found it to be both spacious and lovely and warm. Perry left eggs, butter, milk and bread, which was very welcome on arrival. The flat isn't modern, but it is very clean and comfortable, and had everything that we needed. The bed was really comfy too! Walks in the surrounding parkland with all the snowdrops and aconites were magical!

Would recommend to friends.

Wonderful stay in warm, clean and nicely furnished flat. Perfect for dogs with great walks. Family visited and lots of china and cutlery to entertain them.

Another fine week staying in the Garden flat set amongst the Flora and fauna, weather was good, odd shower, but it was comfy and warm indoors. Everywhere nice and clean as per usual.

The property sits in a fantastic location & we had a warm welcome by Perry, the owner. He showed us around and made it clear we could go to him if there were any problems. There were no limits as to the grounds we could walk around & we even took advantage of the croquet equipment on their lawn.

The flat was well kitted out & had lots of small touches to make it feel like a home from home - books, dvds, boxes of tissues, lovely bed linen & towels etc. We had brought our dog along too & she was made to feel equally as welcome.

My friend and I recently stayed at theGarden Flat at Holbecks house. The accommodation was very spacious and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The owners were very hospitable and supplied us with some provisions.The location was stunning and it was only a short walk into the town of Hadleigh. We found the location to be quite central for exploring the area. All in all we had a lovely holiday here and would love to return.

Wonderful property, size is perfect, we started as a party of 5 plus large dog, didn't feel cramped. Two members returned home after the weekend, so certainly enough room for those left.

Bedding and beds were lovely quality, a good nights sleep was had by all.

Our dog Rocky loved the grounds and the owners also have a dog, she called round for him and whilst we were not not out sight seeing they played endlessly.
