Description of the self catering property
New for 2009, these exquisite architect-designed apartments offer superb accommodation with very generous open plan living spaces. All living areas are south and west facing to take full advantage of our magnificent scenery. They accommodate four guests. The Mains of Taymouth, a 120 acre private estate built in the 19th century, is located in the very heart of Scotland at the head of Loch Tay, in the magnificent Perthshire Highlands. Kenmore is the perfect destination to relax and enjoy the wide and varied experiences our area has to offer and is ideally located for touring the whole of Scotland.Best Features
Mains of Taymouth boasts its very own 9 hole Kenmore golf course and trekking stables. There is lots to do and see in the Kenmore area. We are situated on the edge of Loch Tay and River Tay which offer the best fishing in the area or you can just hire a boat and relax on the Loch.
The best feature about The Gallops apartments are that they have the flexibililty of any check in day, minimum 1 night stay and the bedrooms can be made into 2 kings or 2 twins or 1 king & 1 twin, perfect for couples or small family.

| Cottage Review:
Stayed in The Gallops for the first time and loved them. It had a huge living area with complete with a dining table and the kitchen had granite work surfaces, they were beautiful! The kids had lots to do, never bored. We took our bikes and went for lots of cycles by the river, its all just so beautiful. We decided to go for a 'Family Ride' at the stables and loved it, we all rode together and it was such a laugh! Thanks for a good holiday, we will be beck next year adn will tell all our friends. |
