Cottage Review:
Just want to shout out a massive THANK YOU SARAH AND GLYNN (propery owners). We had a fantastic time staying at your property. It was located very near to Cambridge Gliding Club where my son was taking part in a week long junior gliding championship. Very comfortable place to stay. Two large double rooms, a kitchen that had every appliance you could think of and more, a lovely sitting room with two huge sofas with a big screen tv with french windows opening out on to decking, a utility room and more. Loads of clean towels and even a welcome pack of goodies with lots of extra useful condiments etc in the cupboard. Would highly recommend staying here. There was just one major fault - the owners are just too nice :-) and they even shared an amazing family recipe with us after giving us a home made chicken tikka marinade to add to our chicken. Absolutely delicious. I could make a fortune out of that recipe Glynn :-))) Look forward to coming and staying at your chalet again. All the best to two lovely people Sara & Nick |

Cottage Review:
Having read a couple of negative reviews, we weren't really sure what to expect. We ended up packing far more than we needed as we didn't realise how well-equipped this lovely chalet would be! We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed ourselves (the dogs loved it!). Okay, the decor may be slightly dated but that just added to the appeal. It also made it the perfect property to take our dogs to as we didn't have to panic if they came in with muddy paws. The garden was much bigger than expected. The owners obviously care very much as everything was provided for. Lots of towels, blankets, throws etc and also fans for if it became too hot. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, and there were lovely touches like fresh milk, bread, butter and biscuits which we were not expecting. Handy to also have maps, books etc to look through. Lots of nice walks nearby and plenty of pubs not too far away. We enjoyed a lovely little break with our two whippets. |

Cottage Review:
Sarah and Glynn were great hosts, the area for us was perfect for what we needed. The outside garden is a great place to chill in. Inside is not a modern up to date place, it?s a step back in time, the furnishings are just amazing, in both the bedrooms they have different designs, one is light and bright with lots of Laura Ashley furnishings, this room is bright and airy and the bed so comfortable, the second bedroom is of a different era with walnut wood furniture, it has a very comfortable bed. The bathroom has a bath which is rare with a shower and a curtain that might attach itself to you while showering, this never bothered us as it really is not a big deal. Kitchen was equipped with everything you need and more, the welcome pack was lovely and they have proper man size mugs. Off the kitchen is a washing machine which we used so we didn?t have loads of washing. Living room is a nice cosy room with a great tv with Amazon fire stick too, internet was great too,The big sofas are so comfy we chilled often in them while we were there. We are going to go back, if you find this little piece of heaven you may wish you didn?t gave to leave |
