Description of the self catering property
High Borrans lies a few miles east of Windermere, a small hamlet tucked between the valleys of Troutbeck and Kentmere. For walking it is a fine base, with access to fells for both moderate and long treks, with routes leading as far as Wansfell, High Street and Haweswater. Closer to home the setting is peaceful and ideal for a relaxed stay. A two mile walk brings you to the Watermill Inn, a fine traditional pub and a regular winner of the CAMRA best pub award. A short drive brings you to Windermere and Bowness where you have shops, inns, restaurants, cafes and the lake for boat hire and steamer trips.Sleeps: 2
