Syms Cottage is a charming traditional period cottage on the fringe of Cutcombe parish, a delightful area of Exmoor encompassing the scenic village of Wheddon Cross and striking local attractions of Dunkery Beacon and Snowdrop Valley. Well maintained, tastefully furnished, and offering superb far-reaching countryside views, the property is particularly well suited for couples and those wishing to take advantage of the plentiful walking opportunities in beautiful Exmoor National Park.

• 2 first floor double bedrooms (master bedroom with fabulous views across valley and surrounding farmland)

• Ground floor kitchen well equipped with small vintage oven with three electric hob rings, microwave, toaster, kettle, variety of cookware, kitchen utensils, teapot, coffee pot, cutlery, crockery, and glasses, plus small dining table to seat 4 and pantry containing fridge/freezer

• Ground floor sitting room featuring big-screen television, large inglenook fireplace with exposed stone, bread oven, and wood-burning stove, plus sofa that can be converted into a bed if guests would prefer to sleep downstairs or have restricted mobility

• Ground floor bathroom comprising bath with electric shower over, hand basin, toilet, electrical wall heater, and heated towel rail

• Bed linen, duvets, and towels provided. (Please bring own beach towels for day trips)

• Wi-fi, electric heating, and electricity included in cost, plus basket of logs, kindling and matches provided

• Up to two dogs welcome (supplement of £15 per dog)

• Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am

• Please note, Exmoor phone signal is erratic, but guests can choose to connect to WiFi via smartphone in order to make voice calls
