we loved the cottage, very relaxing with stunning views and loved watching the hens out of the kitchen window, the only negative was the tv which is very small but will definitely return |

| Cottage Review:
It was in December so we could not complain about the weather or the mud 9its a farm). It was clean and well furnished, reasonably close to places to go (rsteam railway, castle) - the highlight would be Wasdale & Wast Water where the mountains are reflected in a mirror-like lake which is quite shallow but appears to be as deep as the scree slopes are tall). The Hodgsons are a pleasant couple & there was no problem with our well-controlled dog. I would recommend it to anyone |
