Had a 3 night break here. Well equipped and spotlessly clean.It was lovely to sit and watch the ducks on the lake and the birds in the trees and let the day drift by. |

We booked to stay here in November 2020, as a work retreat in a place that was secluded but not a million miles from civilization. We were a little apprehensive, as this was a week in the middle of the UK?s new tiered lockdown response to coronavirus. When we pulled up to the lodge, I knew that we had chosen the right location. Perched at the water?s edge, in secluded serenity with the last of the evening sun bouncing off the lake, we felt relaxed immediately. But what would the inside of the lodge present?
