Description of the self catering property

Seagulls Rest is a stone-built semi-detached cottage with superb location, just a stone’s throw from the seafront in Minehead. Dating back to the Victorian era, the spacious property sleeps seven guests in four bedrooms across three levels, and affords wonderful sea views from every window at the front of the house.

• 4 bedrooms (one first floor double with dressing room area and sea view, one first floor single with sea view, one second floor double, and one second floor twin with sea view)

• Ground floor sitting room with windows that both afford delightful views over the Bristol Channel

• Dining room with large table with seating for up to 8 people

• Kitchen well-equipped with new appliances including integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, washing machine, and tumble dryer

• First floor family bathroom with corner bath, shower unit, toilet and hand basin, and ground floor shower room with WC and hand basin

• Child-friendly accommodation, with high chair provided and plenty of space in single bedroom for a travel cot (not provided)

• Towels (non-beach use) and bed linen provided

• Wifi, gas-fired central heating, and electricity included in cost

• Pets welcome (max. 1, supplement of £10)

• Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am

• Private decked courtyard with two seating areas that allow for alfresco dining, and an arbour seat which provides wonderful views of the sea.  
• Ideal coastal location, just a short walk to Minehead’s sandy beach and popular fishing area, as well as to the town centre with plenty of restaurants and pubs
• Parking for one car available in the enclosed courtyard beside the cottage, with permit available for further parking in spaces along Quay West, Quay St, and the Esplanade in Minehead
• Close to the start of the South West Coastal Path and its exceptionally scenic walking routes
