Location is great for village and pubs, lovely walks around area. The cottage was excellant. We will visit again

Spent a very comfortable week in this lovely little cottage just a few minutes walk from the centre of Betws-y-coed. Scones and cream on arrival, along with all the necessary starter ingredients for the larder set the scene; subsequent exploration revealed every requirement for the household was ready to hand.

Everything was as advertised and more. All-in-all a most enjoyable stay.

Such a wonderful cottage, with excellent facilities, in a superb location. Previous reviewers have said it all before but the location is perfect for a quiet and 'get away from it all' holiday yet a short walk into the village for great pubs, restaurants, coffee bars etc. Royal Oak Cottage provided us with an excellent base for exploring the beautiful area of Snowdonia. This small cottage is delightful. Excellently equipped. Well maintained. 3 minutes walk from all shops, bars, amenities, including public transport. The owners are most welcoming and efficient, nothing being too much trouble. An added bonus is private, secluded parking in a busy village. Easy connectable wi-fi. We cannot recommend this charming cottage highly enough.

Royal Oak Farm Cottage is all anyone could want in a vacation rental---clean, well furnished and maintained, convenient location. Wife & I stayed for two weeks and loved every minute. One of the walks leading to local scenic vistas ran past the front gate, others started only yards away. Restaurants and shops were within five minutes walk. Hosts were friendly but not at all intrusive. The train station is within 100 yards and the bus stop is adjacent to the train station. Village is busy during the day but very quiet at night so no problems with noise.
