If you are looking for a true retreat, far from crowds with fell walks and a pub not to far away, then Rose Cottage in the Duddon Valley may be a good choice for you. The Duddon Valley lies west of the Coniston Mountain range, one of the least changed landscapes in Lakeland. From the Langdales the river runs the full length of the valley, down to the Duddon Sands, its course flanked by impressive fell. Harter, Dunnerdale and Ulpha offer some challenging high level treks along with many low level paths and trails over moorland, through woodland and by the River banks.Sleeps: 6
