| Cottage Review:
The cottage is in an idyllic location on the banks of Coniston and is perfect for launching boats, swimming and catching minnows. The cottage itself is much nicer and more spacious than the photos imply. I can?t imagine a better property in the Lakes for a memorable family holiday. |

Stayed here with my sister and brother in law. Fantastic cottage very spacious and dog friendly too. Lots of walks to do from the door. 15 mins drive to Tarn Hows. 5 mins to Coniston. Had a great week with some good weather. Will return soon. |

| Cottage Review:
This house is stunning and very spacious, A lot of thought and care has gone into it. The decor, furnishings and quirky ornaments ooze quality and charm. The kitchen is huge and so well equipped. BUT a word of warning to dog ownwers, the garden is not secure. Down one side is a hedge, and my dogs only took 5 minutes to escape into the adjoining field. Thank goodness there were no sheep in it at the time or the consequences could have been bad. A couple of days later sheep were put in the field so I couldn't allow my dogs outside for the rest of the week. Chi |

Rented this property for 4 days in May so that we could enjoy holiday with our son, his wife and two grandchildren aged 4 and 2 so 6 in all. Well the property was everything we hoped for (from the description and pictures) but much much more. We were allowed in early as no one was staying in the property the day before. We were given newly baked bread, butter, and milk and a bottle of Rose on the table. There was coffee/tea/sugar and outside everything you needed for a BBQ (not the food!!).
