Just spent a week at this cottage, it is just beautiful and spotless, very spacious and very well equipped. John the owner is so nice and helpful with lots of local information for you. The welcome pack was just wonderful, a lovely surprise. Only a few minutes from centre of Sligo but sits in a country lane, lovely to relax after a full day sightseeing. Lovely to sit in the garden and listen to the birds. Cottage even more impressive than the pictures shown. I would recommend this cottage to anyone and would love to return someday. Just made my holiday to Sligo so special :)

We recently stayed here and we could not recommend this property highly enough. It was spotless, bright, tastefully furnished and very well equipped. It has great outdoor garden space also. It is a super base for exploring Sligo as near the town but lots of scenic options nearby. The hosts were so kind. Really delightful place.

We had a fantastic week at River Dale - the cottage is bright modern and spacious. The main bedroom has its own walk in wardrobe n big walkin shower. There is another main bathroom with a shower n separate bath and a separate utility room. Everything u need is in the kitchen and the welcome gift of flowers and some essentials from the owners was a lovely surprise from the owners John and Marion who were very helpful n responded quickly to any queries. The cottage is about 2-3km from the centre of Sligo but on a quiet country road. It was great to come home from a day of sightseeing and sit and relax at the picnic bench looking over the landscaped garden before dinner. The TV has lots of channels and because it was sunny and warm (yes!) we didn't lite the woodburning stove. It is a great base and there is plenty to do n see around Sligo n this time we ventured into Fermanagh to go Beleek Pottery n a half day boat hire on Lough Erne. This is our second time here and we hope to be back again next year - highly recommended
