Description of the holiday cottage
Ripon House is an 1830's end terraced, 3 bedroomed cottage in the centre of a small Snowdonia village. It has a large beamed lounge with TV, DVD, Video & CD player. Seperate bright dining room with patio doors leading onto a small slate, south facing patio. Modern kitchen with 6 ring gas hob, electric oven, microwave, separate fridge & freezer. There is a new downstairs toilet with small hand sink & washing machine. Upstairs is a large family bedroom with king size bed, small single pine bedroom, bathroom & twin bedded attic room. There are 2 ‘pull-out’ beds and a bed-settee should they be required. Llanberis is in the heart of Snowdonia, a mountainous region of North Wales yet only 20 mins to coast. The house is only a 2 min walk to a beautiful lake, surrounded by mountains. Llanberis is famous for being at the foot of Mount Snowdon, rock climbing, walking, water sports, castles, famous gardens & the Snowdon mountain railway.Best Features
Central location in small Snowdonia village, close to all amenities and numerous tourist attractions. An ideal base for families, rock climbers, walkers or just for browsing the local shops and places of interest. Only 5 mins walk to the lake and 15 mins drive to the coast, castles or picturesque villages.
A characterful, modernised property, spacious and very child friendly.It is a 'second home' for my family so very 'homely' and well equipped.

| Cottage Review:
We had an excellent stay at Ripon House and the cottage was ideal for our needs. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped especially if you have young children like us. The cottage is well stocked with childrens toys and accesories, and conveniently has a small play ground opposite. It is a two minute walk to the centre of LLanberis and it's various shops and eateries. The scenic lake is also very close with another kiddies playground on hand. The only downside is that parking is not so easy in Llanberis due to it having narrow streets and double yellow lines. We usually found a space within 30 - 40 yards of the cottage though, and we would certainly like to stay here again if we are visiting Snowdonia. Holehouse Family, Colne, Lancashire. |

| Cottage Review:
This cottage is very well equipped, especially for families with young children, having toys, cot, high chair etc. It also faces a small playground, and is a two minute walk to the lake with ducks. The village has some great little shops, restaurants, and take aways. It's in a perfect location for climbing, hiking, seaside or water sports. The cottage itself is very cosy, comfortable and clean. |

The cottage has excellent amenities. The rooms are well maintained, comfortable, clean, and stocked. Careful attention to detail has been successfully achieved. We will definatley go back. |
