| Cottage Review:
The house is situated in a great area for the lake and shops only a few minutes walk. The furnishings in the property are very nice and comfortable. Unfortunately that's where it ends. The double room in the basement is very damp which causes it to smell very strongly & isn't comfortable to sleep in. The double room at the front of the house has a leak in the onsuite so when my friend had a shower we also had a shower in the downstairs lounge. We informed the company which we book through & they said they knew about it but didnt have time in-between the bookings to sort it out & advised us not to use the shower. We were made to feel very uncomfortable when we used the hot tub on our first night (5.50 pm) by the neighbour who shouted at us. We also felt very intimidated the second night by the neighbour when we tried to use the tub at 4.30 pm so we got out after 30mins & didn't use it again. Not good when you are paying to use the facilities offered & you can't. |
