Description of the holiday cottage
Port Light Cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests. It is located in a prime position on st Mary's, just off The Bank in Hugh Town, at the bottom of Garrison Hill, and just a few yards from the Harbour. There is rumour that it is the oldest building on St Mary’s outside of The Garrison. It is a cosy cottage, ideal for a holiday on The Isles of Scilly with family or friends. Dogs are accepted. Port Light and neighbouring Starboard Port Light Cottages have an inter-connecting door that can be rented together as one larger cottage with 5 bedrooms, sleeping up to 9 adults.Best Features
The Downstairs of Port Light has an entrance hall with stairs.
There is an open plan kitchen / diner / lounge. In the lounge you will find a comfy sofa and chair.
In the well equipped kitchen / diner there is a fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washer / dryer, table and chairs seating up to 4 guests. Highchairs can be made available on request.
Port Light upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, leading off a bright and sunny landing. From the landing there is also access to the hotel garden.
Bedroom 1 can be a twin or double room and bedroom 2 is a twin room.
The Family Bathroom has a bath and shower over.

| Cottage Review:
The cottage is warm and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to cook in and the lounge is spacious and comfortable. There is a handy downstairs loo and a big bathroom upstairs with a good shower. Beds are very comfy. We found the welcome package waiting for us and absolutely loved our stay. Food at the main hotel was very good and the staff and all the local people were very warm, friendly and helpful. Most places are dog friendly and all in all we could not find a single fault😁 |

| Cottage Review:
Just returned from week of glorious weather, staying in Port Light Cottage. Lovely Cottage, well equipped, thoughtfully decorated in an ideal spot in Hugh Town. Nice to have welcome pack including cream tea!! Great to be able to use Hotel gardens and restuarant. Down side would be 2nd bedroom quite small for 2 adults and the property is not suitable for the advertised 4 adults plus 2 cots. Also no opening window in 2nd bedroom which got very hot. |
