| Cottage Review:
We have stayed at all the cottages at Wydon Farm over the years. We chose Poppy for my birthday being in June you get your own private garden. The lounge is comfortable light and airy with views to the garden and sheep graze the fellside . The kitchen looks out into the garden which has bird feeders with numerous birds visiting. Its very well equipped with all you need . The bedroom is spacious and the bed is new and lovely and comfortable and the window looks out to Blencathra . Fabulous to watch the sunset. Just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable week at Poppy Cottage, very comfortable accommodation in truly beautiful surroundings. David and Moira were very welcoming and we have booked again for next summer :-) |

| Cottage Review:
Had a fantastic week, (last week in August), everything about our stay was superb. David & Moira have put so much into making it special for their guests, including a bottle of wine and milk on arrival. Food can be bought at the local farm shop which is excellent, and there is everything in the cottage for cooking. There are also a couple of pubs nearby. The bed was very comfortable. We found it a great place for exploring the lakes, as its just off the A66. I would highly recommend ! |
