Description of the cottage holiday
Situated in the North Cumbria village of Bothel, Poppy Cottage offers fully equipped self catering accommodation on the fringe of the Lake District. Suitable for familes or couples, the cottage is an ideal base for walkers, climbers, cyclist and bird watchers. Secure storage for cycles. The cottage provides easy access to Bassenthwaite, Keswick (12 miles) the Western Lakes, Skiddaw, the Solway Coast (10 miles) and Carlisle (20 miles). We provide bed linen, towels, kitchen linen, cooking oil, dishwasher tablets, laundry tablets/liquid and conditioner. Logs for the wood burner.Best Features
Sleeps up to 3 people. Fully equiped kitchen diner with dishwasher. Bathroom with bath and electric shower. TV, freeview, DVD, CD player, radio. Cosy lounge with oak beams and multi-fuel fire.
There is an attractive enclosed garden with a summer house and facilities for relaxation and out door dining. For those of you wishing to bring you dog, we can provide feeding bowls and a dog bed.

Brilliant, well equiped cottage - all needs catered for. Clean, comfortable and cosy, delightfull nights spent infront of log burner. Beautiful gardens for relaxing in - excellent location for touring the Lake District. Good food at local pub close by. |
