Description of the cottage holiday

Pilgrim Corner is a large and luxurious thatched holiday cottage in the heart of Minehead’s old town. A Tudor-period self catering cottage that oozes character and charm and boasts a large hot tub, truly magical gardens, and sumptuously comfortable interior that includes a cosy log-burner. Situated at the foot of the Church Steps on North Hill, and surrounded by beautiful historic buildings and the magnificent Exmoor National Park, Pilgrim Corner provides everything one could wish for to ensure a fantastic stay in West Somerset.

• 4 bedrooms (one first floor king-sized double with antique furniture and en-suite bathroom, one smaller first floor double with elegant mini-shower and good views of surrounding historic area, a third first floor double bedroom with small mirrored vestibule with large shower leading off it, and one light and spacious ground floor twin with generous en-suite shower facilities and enchanting rural theme)

• Spacious and airy ground floor sitting room with comfortable selection of sofas, armchairs, and window seats, wood burner, large flat-screen TV with Sky, iPlayer, and Blu-ray DVD, and other entertainment including selection of books, games, jigsaws and puzzles, iPod dock and Bluetooth speaker bar, and well-stocked toy chest

• Ground floor kitchen fully equipped with range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, larder refrigerator, toaster, kettle, blender,variety of cookware and kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery, and glasses, plus rustic wooden table and six chairs

• Long, bright ground floor dining room overlooking small terraced garden at rear of the house, with seating for eight

• Ground floor boot room containing cleaning cupboard, storage for coats and shoes, iron, ironing board, and vacuum

• Small ground floor lobby with further fridge/freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer

• Bed linen and towels provided (please bring own beach towels for hot tub use)

• Wi-fi, gas central heating, and electricity included in cost, plus basket of logs, kindling and matches provided

• Pets welcome (max. 2, no additional supplement)

• Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am

• Tea, coffee, and sugar provided, with other non-perishable items like salt, pepper, and oil, and household sundries such as toilet rolls, washing-up liquid, and tea towels available
• Please note, no allocated parking, but ample free street parking available a short walk from the front door (approx 50 yards), and possible to load/unload car directly outside property
