This is the second time we have been to this house for a break.

It is a very welcoming house , very well equipped with everything you will need.

The garden leads onto the beach which is stunning.

Jean and Bob could not do enough for us yet again, they really are so helpful and living next door are lovely neighbours ..

There were five of us staying plus one elderly dog who had a wonderful time there....more than enough room for us all .

Nearby there are a few pubs and a fish and chip shop also a Chinese takeaway.

You can also walk along to the Downs where there are two lovely cafes...

We have only just arrived home and already im missing walking out into the garden and onto the beach !

A Wonderful cottage next to the beach. The rooms are large and include everything you would need. The owners are lovely and couldn't do enough for us and were happy to supply extra bedding if requested. It is very child friendly as well as dog friendly and has seating areas to the front and back of the property. Everything needed to cook a meal was provided, and there were plenty of pans and utensils to use. It is nice and quiet where it is situated but still within a close distance to local amenities.

We had a fantastic week at Pendil in April. The house is located right on the beach and is only a short walk down the road to the main amenities (fair, pubs, bars, arcades, restaurants, etc). The kids (and the dog) absolutely loved playing in the garden and on the beach. The owners, Jean and Bob were really lovely and couldn't have done more to ensure we had a great holiday. Will definitely be returning!

EXCELLENT! best word to use for this seaside let. The people who own the place could not do enough for us we will be back without a doubt.

Just read the last review and I have to say that person must have been staying somewhere completely different! We were one of the first visitors at the Pendil holiday home just after it was renovated and opened, and we have returned on 3 occasions since. The location and views from the house is beautiful and the facilities offered within are perfect - the house has everything you could need - even a bucket and spade for the kids, just like home from home really. The decor inside the house is lovely - cosy and inviting and not in the slightest gloomy or drab! Each room has a tv (not that we tend to go on holiday to watch telly!), and whilst the antennae did need the odd tweak, this is no different to what we have to do sometimes at home and not an inconvenience in the slightest. I can't recommend Pendil enough!

The only thing fab about the cottage is the placement, being right on the beach, fabulous access to the sands. The house it self had been renovated, but i have to say that it didn't feel that way. It was very old feeling and horrid musty smell. There wasn't enough utensils for self catering. The whole decore and furniture was gloomy. The beds were uncomfortable and one broken which the owners knew about before 2 weeks before we arrived, they admitted themselves!! The windows were sealed with sellotape!! The tv couldn't get any reception. Not worth the money at all. Not returning. The only sea view was of the grassy dunes from downstairs bedroom. And you are surrounded by caravans not a secluded as appears.
