Description of the holiday cottage

Pen Nare is a large period holiday home in Portscatho on the Roseland Peninsula overlooking Gerrans Bay that sleeps up to 9 people and commands fantastic views towards the sea from its position high above the beach. This is a beautiful period property, full of features including window seats that take advantage of the gorgeous views to the sea. Downstairs at Pen Nare there is an open plan living room, dining area and kitchen complete with an oil fuelled Aga and wood burner, there is seating for seven at the dining table. The kitchen has a slimline dishwasher as well as a larder fridge and an electric hob and there is a TV with DVD in the living room. There is an additional utility room that has a washing machine and freezer as well as a garden room to the rear of the property that has comfy seating and opens out onto the rear courtyard. All rooms are fully furnished with a range of period features and sofas and sofa chairs. There are five bedrooms at Pen Nare including a downstairs double bedroom that has fantastic views and its own TV as well as an ensuite shower room and a shower suite, this room has been designed to be suitable for those with limited mobility. There are a further 4 bedrooms upstairs including a double bedroom with its own ensuite shower room and a further double bedroom that has great sea views. There is a size single bedroom that also has sea views and a further twin bedroom that has a view to the garden and the upper terrace. There is an additional bathroom on the first floor. Outside at Pen Nare, there is a front garden complete with a small lawn and benches so that you can soak in the amazing views. To the rear, there is an additional garden with an enclosed courtyard is that have table and chairs and a barbecue as well as a terraced garden.
