| Cottage Review:
If you are in need of an escape from the rat race, I highly recommend a break at Oxen farm park cottage. We were lucky enough to have a last minute stay between Christmas and New year 2023 and I can't believe it was available. Approaching the tiny village, everything melts away and the feeling gets better when entering the cottage. It is spotless, everything hi spec, lots of space, very comfortable and we loved it. We're regular visitors to South lakes and it's the first time we've stayed in a place with the footpath to adventures starts on the door step, literally walking out of the door and it starts. The cottage is on a working farm, other than a few houses and a beautiful country pub there is nothing but scenery. However a 5 minute windy road drive and you're on the a590, with easy access to Ulverston, Windermere, coniston, Grasmere, Hawkeshead and cartmel. We stayed as a family of 4, there is plenty of space in master bedroom or front room for pull out bed if required. I really hope to book again soon, absolutely loved it here |
