We've been taking self-catering holidays for around 30 years, and thought we'd seen it all, from the grim to the excellent. Kirkby Stephen's reasonably-priced Oscar House has just proved us wrong. It has set a new high standard, and the distinction of easily being the best accommodation we've experienced. This is pure good taste and high quality, with no expense spared in comfort and equipment. It was sparkling clean and superbly comfortable. Everything is excellent about the cottage the location and ease of walking to the local pubs and restaurants we brought loads of stuff with us for our weeks stay but it was already in the cottage,meet the owners who were excellent especially if we had any problems etc. |
