Ormrods is a very comfortable three bedroom detached house, recently refurbished to a high standard, with a idyllic balcony and beautiful large (one acre) gardens. Situated in an elevated position in a tranquil part of Withypool village, the property maximizes its far-reaching views of Exmoor, over the bordering River Barle, via an inverted room layout featuring first floor reception and living/sitting room areas.

• First floor kitchen-dining area well equipped with Rayburn cooker plus electric hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, and dishwasher

• Spacious first floor sitting room with excellent countryside views and wood burner; logs provided with further supplies stored in log-shed

• First floor shower room with toilet and hand basin

• First floor utility room with washing machine and Belfast sink

• Bed linen provided (please note towels, tea towels, and bath mats not provided)

• Wifi, central heating, and electricity included

• Pets welcome (max. 2, supplement of £15 per dog)

• Please note that this property is not suitable for children under 5 years of age due to steep terraced gardens and bordering river

Best Features

• South-facing private gardens approximately an acre in size, with lawns plus two stone walls and an in-built stone seat recently installed to allow elevated views over the village, garden, river, and towards the moor. The foot of the garden that borders the River Barle has been designated a site of special scientific interest and thus is left to its natural habitat, in which rare wild orchids flourish. Benches enable guests to sit and watch out for fish in the river’s lovely clear waters, and two sheds contain logs for the wood- burner, garden tools, and a barbecue
