| Cottage Review:
On arrival we discovered that my car would not fit into the allocated parking space in the underground car park.I managed to get it in after much effort only to discover I could not open my door sufficiienly.Another resident pointed out were the visitor parking spaces were fortunately (But on the second day a thoughtless person blocked me in so we could not use the car.) The appartment was very contemporary and well equipped the inside was difficult to fault. With 4 nights to go the lifts became broken and unusable ,to get to the car park we had to go down 3 flights of steep stairs.With me being in my late 60s with asthma this became a problem especially when we had to check out and leave moving all our luggage in several stages. The booking was made with Lyme Bay Cottages a company well run and one that I have used many times,since the booking they have been taken over by Sykes Cottages. During our stay I rang and reported these issues and on my return home I rang Sykes they are not as customer friendly as the previous agents and refuse to accept any fault. I will never use them again. |
