| Cottage Review:
We had a fantastic time at the whit barrow village. Kirks tone 5 was great, well positioned, roomy and a lovely place to be for a week. Great to have use of the facilities too. Everyday spent walking, finding a cafe for cake and finishing the day swimming. My three year old learnt to swim this year! Thank you! A brilliant week, must be why we keep coming back! |

| Cottage Review:
The cottage was "upside down" in that the sleeping rooms were downstairs and the living rooms were upstairs. This proved a bit of challenge with our little boy (who's only at a crawling age) but we managed to keep him contained eventually. The cottage was spotless, very well maintained and a real home from home. The only issue we found was that there wasn't a great deal of "leftovers" in the kitchen - salt, pepper, vinegar, baking foil etc which usually come in handy on a holiday trip when you don't want to cart the whole contents of your kitchen with you! | Cottage Review:
a lovely little place to stay near the lakes, nice and secluded but still close enough to the lake district area. the house itself was perfect and very homely with all the things we needed (kitchen facilities, dvd player, 2 bathrooms) one thing that was an inconvenience was that there was nowhere to buy essentials like bread, milk, cereals within a 20 minute drive so when we arrived in the evening with our 2 year old child we had nothing for our breakfast the following morning so make sure you take the essentials with you. |
