| Cottage Review:
Lovely ground floor apartment with a nice outlook slightly spoilt by the gate. It is very clean and comfortable, however the kitchen is not very well equipped. We like to cook and had a problem finding something to cook just a lasagne in. The cleaners are on the site every day, not sure what they do but they are there from about 9.30 until 11.30/12. The apartment has floor to ceiling windows and although the glass is mirrored it doesn't feel at all private with people going back and forth all the time. Previous reviews mention noise from the apartment above. We didn't have any problem with this, our neighbours were considerate and so it wasn't an issue. The hot tub is lovely as is the location. Not the most romantic getaway due to the footfall outside the window but I wouldn't have wanted to miss seeing the sunset over Windermere from the hot tub. We probably won't return here due to the privacy issue but it is a lovely apartment. |
