| Cottage Review:
Stayed here for a week with my wife in late August 2020. Little House is cosy, with reclining sofa, comfy double bed, modern kitchen and bathroom, and great outdoor space to enjoy breakfast and evening drinks (loved the chimenea). The hosts - Mark and Dianne - were friendly and pointed us in the direction of some great local attractions (Aber Falls, Portmeirion) and pubs/restaurants (Black Lion in Llanfair Talhairn, White Lion in Llanelian, La Dolce Vita in Rhos-on-Sea). On our arrival, we also found fresh milk and biscuits waiting for us - a nice touch which was very much appreciated! The village itself is fairly quiet, although there is a pub 5 minutes? walk away (The Wheatsheaf) and a local shop if you need supplies. You'll need a car to get around, but there are some great places all within an hour's drive, including Anglesey, the Great Orme, Conwy, Snowdon Mountain Railway, Betws y Coed and Colwyn Bay. Gwrych Castle is also nearby for I'm a Celebrity fans, but it's unfortunately closed in preparation for the new series. Overall, Little House is a great place to stay and is highly recommended! |
