This 2-bedroom apartment was bright and spacious for two of us. It was clean, warm, well-decorated and comfortable while maintaining its character. The well-equipped kitchen is big enough and I was very pleased to see the environmentally conscious approach to cleaning materials and recycling. Susie made us feel very welcome. Gardeners be prepared to take home plants from the well-stocked garden centre!

A Lovely comfortable apartment with plenty of space in a really nice part of the country. We all enjoyed our stay and the kids loved the outdoor space. The apartment was nicely decorated and the main bedroom was great. [Added at Editor's discretion since it appears to be a helpful review and the reviewer has been authenticated]

A spacious apartment in a beautiful old house and gardens. On arrival everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well-equipped and the owners provide lots of useful information as well as a genuinely warm and friendly welcome. Excellent firm bed ensured restful nights. Apartment not furnished with up-to-the-minute decor/furniture, but this added to its relaxed charm. Only thing we would change is the addition of a proper sofa to stretch out on in the living room after all those long walks in beautiful surrounding area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and plan to make a return visit.

We are a family of four, and we loved our stay at Kinlochlaich House. Our apartment was great, spacious enough for all of us and comfortable. We all loved our beds, and the sheets provided by the owner. We felt very welcomed, and loved the personal touch. We greatly appreciated the fact that there is recycling, and lots of "green" straights to the place. We were there in the midst of winter, and the apartment was lovely warm. The kitchen is great! We highly recommend this place! Also Appin is a great spot to explore from, there is lots to see nearby - even walking distance! Port Appin has fabulous restaurants to indulge!

A very good 1st floor apartment. Ideal for a couple - it felt very spacious, perhaps wouldn't have done so if there were 4 of you. Super new king size bed. Excellent location, delightful grounds, lovely walk down to the strath & views of Castle Stalker, specially at dusk.

We didn't expect Creran to be such a large apartment! Every part of the house was spacious. We were very pleased with the new kingsize bed and the light and cozy kitchen. Although this apartment is on the first floor, its size, comfort and light makes it worth while! Don't forget the beautiful and large common garden where you can relax, play with the children, have dinner and enjoy the surroundings. And if you're in for tennis or table tennis you can have a very sportive holiday! Thanks Susie, Donald and Fiona for your hospitality and attention. We felt very welcome in your beautiful house.

Cottage Review: An historic house with an apartment for two, in an area not walked during our forty years visiting the Highlands. We were delighted on arrival and found our stay throughout very comfortable and restful. Spacious rooms, tranquility, grounds at their best (in May), welcoming hostess. (We appreciate the art too)

Cottage Review: I used the internet and only book places that there are photos of the inside of the accommodation. Your website is very good and easy to use. Location also great. The cleanliness, fresh flowers, practical aspects eg. cooking equipment, care regarding maintenance and recycling, all exceeded expectations. Very homely apartment. The large heated towel rail is great, also the use of washing/drying machines. It is nice to have an apartment which doesn't feel too large for 2 people. Thank you being so welcoming and providing such levels of holiday accommodation. We hope to visit again.
