Description of the self catering property
Keen Ground Cottage offers comfortable, simple accommodation suited to either a couple, or a family with young children. Centrally located in the heart of the Lake District, you have walks nearby, fishing and the village with its many pubs and little shops. Nearby, a mere ten minute stroll away, lies Hawkshead. Centred on two squares, with narrow streets, timber framed buildings, and cobbled nooks, the earliest buildings date from around the 16th century. There are four good pubs, a grocer, post office and chemist, book shop and cafes, along with walking gear outlets and some good arts and crafts shops.Sleeps: 4
