For me, Honey pot Cottage and adjoining Nanny Goat Cottage are two of the most fabulous holiday retreats to be found in the lake district, perfect for family - equally perfect for a couple looking for somewhere very special for a romantic break, honeymoon or celebration. Situated in the grounds of her own small country estate, renowned interior designer, Lynette Tattersall and husband Jack, offer their guests the perfect holiday cottages. Created for comfort, relaxation and a large pinch of wow factor, you have truly a place to simply holiday at, use and enjoy.Sleeps: 4

| Cottage Review:
Lovely cottage but if you don't like dog hairs don't book. Just returned from three night stay (previous guests had a dog, as the guest book). Dog hairs seemed to be everywhere, even on plates in cupboard ! Ordered logs but no kindling or newspaper supplied to get fire going. One toilet roll each bathroom had to go out and replenish. Gardens are fantastic. Cottage a bit off the beaten track up hill and down dale so to speak. |

| Cottage Review:
Simply the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. The cottage is immaculate, the grounds are gorgeous. The decor is stunning and of the highest quality - you can see why the owner is a successful interior designer. I would not hesitate to book the cottage again. From the repeat comments in the Guest Book, Honey Pot and Nanny Goat cottages have a loyal following. The roaming deer in the gardens just add to the magic of the cottages. Fully deserving of their 5 star gold award status. If you want a luxury cottage, in peaceful surroundings, look no further. We cant wait to get back there - loved it!
