We stayed at Holly Lodge. It is excellent there is everything you need at the lodge. It tastefully furnished. John and Jan the owners cannot do enough for you and they are very helpful. My sister is in a wheelchair and it was perfect for her. There are so many places to visit Appleby its self is a lovely place. There are so many places to visit, the lakes, Yorkshire and Hadrians Wall. We visited a wildlife park while we were there it was lovely. Grasmere is also a lovely place to visit.I would have no hesitation of recommending both Holly Lodge and Appleb |
