Description of the self catering property
on the edge of Dulverton, about 400 yards from the square and on the steep side of the River Barle valley, a semi-detached cottage with big picture windows and light pouring in. With views across the valley through trees, the cottage has been carefully renovated. A steepish zig-zag path with steps (20 yards) leads to it from the road below. Inside, comfortable and stylishly rustic with stripped pine floors and doors. Small hall off which an attractive living room with woodburner and lovely wooded views; smart new open-plan kitchen/dining room (Aga plus electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge-freezer) with door to a dear little conservatory for two, all enjoying same great views; downstairs loo (washbasin). Upstairs, two bedrooms two pretty doubles, one with wrought iron bed, both overlooking the river, and a bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). Wireless Broadband. No smoking. Excellent bakery, 100 yards.Sleeps: from 0 to 4

| Cottage Review: We were extermely impressed by the efficiency of the booking process, and the e-mail and texted reminders on phased payment and contact with the caretaker. The property entirely matched its brochure description and our expectations. Finally, the post-dated cheque to cover potential breakages is a very sensible system. | |||||
