| Cottage Review:
Lovely holiday let, very well presented with all amenities expected. Log burning fire was a lovely feature and made for a very cozy setting, the property has a lot of character. Very well located, walking distance to Cartmel and close to the train station for day trips. The local pub a stones throw away has a great atmosphere and a friendly welcoming landlord. Highly recommended for a relaxing time away. |

| Cottage Review:
We had a great weekend here. The village is really pretty and the cottage is fronted with a lovely beck. The wood burning stove made it really cosy and there was a good supply of logs and kindling provided. We had a nice walk straight from the cottage round Flookborough Head and ended back at the Engine Inn just a few doors from the house. The food and service there was fab. Very friendly and welcoming. We were well advised to book in the afternoon as it was pretty full by 7pm. The cottage was great value for money, spotlessly clean and well stocked with tea |
