Halsecombe Cottage is a lovely detached bungalow on the outskirts of Porlock village that dates back to the 1920s. Set in an enviable position on the lower slopes of Porlock Hill, the property features a beautiful large garden that affords fantastic views of the bay and deer frequently grazing in the orchard opposite. With Exmoor National Park literally on the doorstep, and situated just a mile from the South West Coastal Path, Halsecombe Cottage truly is a perfect destination for walking and nature enthusiasts alike.

• 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin)

• Kitchen/dining room well equipped with electric cooker with hob and washing machine, plus toaster, kettle, comprehensive range of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery, and glasses

• Pantry next to kitchen with fridge, small freezer, microwave, and further storage space

• Sitting room with open fire, television/DVD player, and DAB radio

• Family bathroom with shower over bath

• Good quality Egyptian cotton bed linen, duvets, blankets, and towels provided. (Please note outdoor/beach towels not provided; please bring own)

• Wifi, electricity, and heating (modern electric night storage heating in all rooms plus portable heaters) included in price, plus basket of logs

• Up to two dogs welcome by prior arrangement (supplement of £15 per dog)

• Check-in from 3pm, check-out by 11am

• Please note, property not suitable for young children, elderly people, or those  with limited mobility due to steps from car parking area and steep garden
