Water-stained curtains, badly maintained decking, old cushions scattered about, moldy furniture, rusty furniture piled up, tiles loose, loose tap, chipped cups, gutters filled with overgrowth etc etc. The list is endless. I have also been made aware that these issues have been brought to the owner?s attention from a previous customer, but the owner has chosen not to address any of the issues & just let it out again at a high price. A cleaner did turn up on the first day and she took additional photos as she agreed that it was very sub standard. She did offer to arrange for jet washing but that?s the last thing we needed when it was supposed to be a relaxing holiday so we declined. A bit of jet washing wouldn?t have fixed the many other issues anyway

In my opinion this is a 2-star property let out at a 5-star price and is not worth the money we paid. We do these types of holidays a lot and this is the first time we have ever had cause to complain. I am advised by the site reception that no effort was made by the owners to contact the site nor rectify the maintenance issues whilst we were there despite there being an on-site handy man available if required. I am also advised by reception that this lodge cannot be let out via their own letting facility as it is sub standard and it has been earmarked for discussion once the site fees become due.

Scruffy and in need of maintenance. Many little things wrong mean this is not worth the premium price. If it wasn't for the view and sunshine, we'd have come home.

Jetty broken in places and dangerous.

Paint and render peeling off below door entrance.

All decking woodwork needs painting, some areas are green mouldy and some are going rotten.

Outdoor dining chairs have green mould on the back.

Wooden panels on side of building are coming apart.

Bathroom floor tile loose. Pops up if corner stood on.

Showerhead hose leaking.

Cupboard doors in entrance hall need adjusting.

Bathroom basin tap loose, wobbles when used.

Kitchen sink has no plug.

Only 5 dining chairs inside.

Not one set of matching wine glasses.

Not a matching set of bowls.

Decking dirty, glass panels dirty with cobwebs & bird muck.

Cushions on outdoor seating dirty. One cushion missing.

Old metal table & chairs left outside when clearly unusable.

Outdoor umbrella stand (x2) with no umbrellas.

Building front windows/doors dirty with cobwebs.

Little bedroom storage, one room has no usable hanging space.

No instructions or ‘welcome pack’
