| Cottage Review:
Lovely cottage with spacious bedrooms and stunning garden with a bonus of woodland behind the cottage with easy access from the pathway from the cottage garden. Our greyhounds loved it and we could relax and let them enjoy some freedom in the garden. The cottage was well equipped clean and comfortable. Beautiful area to stay on with lovely views, scenery and close to bowness. We were lucky with the weather, it was warm and sunny for our week. We were cold the first night, we found the electric storage heaters inadequate at night so we’re glad of the warm weather the rest of our week. I looked for extra blankets, throws or duvets and there were none. That’s something the owners should think about providing. The wood burner is a great addition but is only the sitting room. We had a couple of issues with the shower as it became blocked twice but these things happen and the owner was great at sorting it out quickly for us. The welcome pack was very nice and we were grateful for that. Some dvd films would be nice in case of poor weather it’d boredom! Not a deal breaker we loved our holiday and would stay at greenbank again. I personally found the downstairs bed very uncomfortable as I have fibromyalgia however others may not find it uncomfortable. |
