| Cottage Review:
We hired Eden Lodge for a family celebration (50th birthday). The Lodge is set in its own large grounds in quiet Bardsea, near Ulverston. Our three night stay was largely very positive, the building being more than adequate to accommodate a large party. With two large sitting areas with bar, a big commercial kitchen, a huge dining room and lots of comfortable bedrooms, mostly en suite, it was liking having our own hotel! We have just returned home from a week at Eden Lodge - self catered, whole property rental - over the Christmas week. What an amazing property to share as a family. Loads of space, beautifully decorated, and every room en suite. We had a couple of issues with things not working or broken but the service company came almost straight away and properly sorted or completely replaced things. We would highly recommend Eden lodge for family get togethers and thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities . and beautiful local walks. The view from the dining room (and |
