Description of the self catering property
3 miles north-west of Ilminster, in the tiny hamlet of Rapps (larger Ilton with pub and shop, 1 mile), a good sturdy detached, local stone-built farmhouse, on the edge of the same country estate as E66, E67 and E68. With far-reaching views over neat farmland from almost every room, the house has a pretty, lawned garden to the front/side with a suntrap sitting-out area (table/chairs, barbecue) behind, all enclosed.Sleeps: from 0 to 7

| Cottage Review: Property E71 The Deacons; we have stayed there twice now and enjoyed this lovely farmhouse to the full. Set in the countryside close to Ilminster (super butchers, deli and bakers + newish Tesco) and near to the M5 it was perfect for our family including the dogs. The house is very with well looked after and extremely comfortable plenty of room for us all to have our own space inside and lots of room outside. Having always driven through Somerset on the way to somewhere else it was an eye opener to visit this lovely county. I would go back to The Deacons anytime! | |||||

| Cottage Review: This is a spacious, well equipped, warm and comfortable property. The owners have thought of pretty much everything you might need. It feels like it's out in the countryside but it is very quick to get to the nearest town and several major roads, so it is also very conveniently located. The area is beautiful and there is plenty to do for all different ages. We had a lovely holiday, thank you. | |||||

| Cottage Review: The property was even more lovely than described and in a wonderfully peaceful location yet central to many towns, villages & points of interest. The caretaker checked to make sure we were happy and satisfied and then we were happily left alone and not continually 'visited' which is sadly the case in some properties. The property is a true home from home and we could not recommend it highly enough! | |||||

| Cottage Review: Beautifully presented house, luxury linen and towels, good china and glasses. Clean and fresh. Lovely owner. Easy peasy to keep the dog in the utility safely with door to house shut so he could trot between inside and out on his long lead. The most comfortable house we have stayed in the uk in the past ten stays around the county. | |||||
